The Neues Museum in Nuremberg was presented Ross Bleckner’s paintings from October 2019 to June 2020.

„Bleckner’s painting seems to constantly reinvent itself, to ultimately speak again and again of the fragility of existence and of man’s longing for the metaphysical refuge behind the world of appearances. Death is omnipresent in Bleckner’s oeuvre and marries beauty in his painting. Images of flowers or human cells, which the artist transforms into luminous lanterns, explore a terrain between biology, psychology and identity.“
